Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Computing Engineer to design, implement, manage, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security, performance, scalability, and reliability of cloud environments while supporting business operations through modern cloud technologies and automation practices.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management
Design, deploy, and maintain cloud environments on platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Configure and manage virtual machines, cloud networking, storage solutions, and cloud-native services.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure.
Cloud Migration & Deployment
Plan and execute migration of applications, databases, and workloads from on-premises environments to the cloud.
Deploy and manage cloud-native applications and services.
Minimize downtime and ensure smooth migration processes.
Performance & Cost Optimization
Monitor cloud resource utilization and system performance.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Optimize cloud spending through resource right-sizing and cost management strategies.
Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Automate provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
Develop and maintain scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code templates.
Improve operational efficiency through automation and DevOps practices.
Security & Compliance
Implement cloud security best practices including identity and access management, encryption, and threat monitoring.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct security assessments and vulnerability remediation activities.
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
Design and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
Perform periodic testing of recovery procedures.
Ensure critical business systems remain resilient and recoverable.
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with software developers, DevOps engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders.
Support cloud adoption initiatives and provide technical guidance.
Participate in architecture discussions and solution design.
Troubleshooting & Incident Management
Diagnose and resolve cloud infrastructure and application issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Knowledge of cloud networking, virtualization, storage, and security concepts.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, etc.).
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant cloud certifications such as:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect
Microsoft Azure Administrator/Architect
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Engineer
Experience in cloud migration projects and enterprise-scale cloud environments.
