Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer – IT Service Management to manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure, including server administration, networking, and IT service operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Windows/Linux environments, networking technologies, ITIL processes, and infrastructure monitoring, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of IT services.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management
Manage and support end-to-end IT infrastructure operations.
Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
Ensure high availability, performance, and stability of enterprise systems.
Perform routine system health checks and capacity planning.
Server Administration
Manage Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 environments.
Handle server patching, upgrades, configuration management, and security updates.
Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity (BCP) processes.
Networking Operations
Administer and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Support networking technologies including:
TCP/IP
VPN
Firewalls
Routers
Switches
Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
IT Service Management
Execute Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management activities in accordance with ITIL best practices.
Coordinate and resolve escalated technical issues.
Ensure service availability and adherence to SLAs.
Maintain service records, reports, and operational documentation.
Monitoring & Compliance
Monitor infrastructure using enterprise monitoring tools.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks proactively.
Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and standards.
Conduct user access management and periodic audits.
Leadership & Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional IT and business teams.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Prepare SOPs, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation.
Participate in infrastructure improvement and optimization initiatives.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work independently and handle critical incidents effectively.
Preferred Skills
Experience with enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
Knowledge of security compliance and audit requirements.
Exposure to cloud technologies and hybrid infrastructure environments.
Scripting and automation knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) is an advantage.
