Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer with strong expertise in Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress and Joomla. The ideal candidate should also have hands-on experience with mobile application development using Android Studio and exposure to modern web technologies. This role involves working across web and mobile platforms to build, customize, optimize, and maintain scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities
PHP & CMS Development
Develop and maintain PHP-based web applications and CMS platforms such as WordPress and Joomla.
Customize CMS themes, templates, plugins, modules, and extensions.
Optimize MySQL databases, queries, and application performance.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
Mobile Application Development
Support the development and maintenance of mobile applications using Android Studio (Java/Kotlin).
Collaborate with web and mobile teams to ensure seamless integration between platforms.
Application Maintenance & Optimization
Participate in code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Maintain system stability, scalability, and security.
Implement best practices in coding standards and software development.
Collaboration
Work closely with frontend developers and mobile application teams.
Collaborate on projects involving Angular, Ionic, and Node.js technologies.
Contribute to technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Development Skills
Strong proficiency in PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress and Joomla.
Solid understanding of MySQL, database schema design, and query optimization.
Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML, and CSS.
CMS Expertise
Experience customizing templates, themes, plugins, and modules.
Understanding of CMS architecture and best practices.
Professional Skills
Strong analytical and debugging abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Frontend & Hybrid Technologies
Experience with Angular (v2+) and TypeScript.
Exposure to Ionic Framework and hybrid mobile application development.
Backend & Mobile Development
Experience with Node.js.
Familiarity with Android Studio (Java/Kotlin).
Exposure to Xcode (Swift) is an added advantage.
Development Tools
Knowledge of Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on software development experience.
