Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst / System Administrator with strong expertise in enterprise IT support, MS SQL database administration, ServiceNow, Active Directory, and Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing IT support operations, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, maintaining enterprise systems, and ensuring high-quality technical support services across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
MS SQL Database Administration
Perform regular MS SQL database:
Backups
Restores
Query validations
Troubleshoot and validate complex SQL queries and scripts
Service Desk & ITSM Support
Manage user support tickets using ServiceNow
Ensure SLA compliance and proper incident documentation
Handle technical support requests and escalated incidents efficiently
Active Directory Administration
Perform Active Directory management tasks including:
Password resets
Account unlocks
Group creation and management
Enforcement of AD policies
User profile maintenance and resets
Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Management
Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Desktop environments
Support virtual desktop infrastructure and user connectivity issues
Windows Server & IIS Troubleshooting
Diagnose and resolve issues related to:
Windows Operating Systems
IIS (Internet Information Services)
Digital Certificate Management
Conduct root cause analysis for escalated technical issues
IT Operations & User Support
Provide advanced troubleshooting and maintenance support to end users
Support IT asset management and system maintenance routines
Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams during upgrades and change implementations
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
Document support procedures and troubleshooting solutions
Develop self-help knowledge base articles
Mentor junior service desk and support team members
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in:
Information Technology
Computer Science
Related Field
or equivalent practical experience
6+ years of experience in:
IT Service Desk
Technical Support
IT Operations
Strong expertise in:
MS SQL Database Administration
SQL Scripting & Query Validation
ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
Active Directory Administration
Azure Virtual Desktop
Windows OS & IIS Troubleshooting
Certificate Management
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service abilities
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft Certifications:
Azure Administrator
Windows Server

ServiceNow Administrator Certification
ITIL Foundation v3/v4 Certification
