Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Lead Engineer to design and develop advanced Automotive Inverters for next-generation electric vehicle (EV) applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-performance, reliable, and compliant inverter hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Inverter Hardware Architecture & Requirements Engineering
Develop and define hardware architectures for automotive inverter systems
Interpret and derive hardware requirements from system-level specifications
Support system-level requirement analysis and hardware implementation
EMI/EMC Compliance & Filtering
Ensure inverter hardware compliance with CISPR 25 EMI/EMC standards
Perform EMI filter sizing and circuit-level filtering design
Optimize hardware designs for electromagnetic compatibility
Active Component Selection & High-Frequency Design
Select and evaluate active components including:
MOSFETs
Diodes
SiC/GaN Power Semiconductors
Design high-frequency inverter hardware for automotive applications
Optimize switching performance, thermal efficiency, and reliability
Microcontroller & Embedded Systems
Work with automotive-grade microcontrollers dedicated to inverter control applications
Support integration between hardware and embedded software systems
Collaborate with firmware teams to ensure optimal inverter performance
PCB Layout & Safety Compliance
Design hardware schematics and PCB layouts for power electronic systems
Ensure compliance with IEC 60664 safety and insulation coordination standards
Optimize PCB layouts for:
Electrical performance
Thermal management
Mechanical robustness
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Integration
Collaborate with software, mechanical, and system engineering teams
Support thermal management and insulation coordination activities
Contribute to system integration, testing, and validation processes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in:
Electrical Engineering
Power Electronics
Related Engineering Discipline
Proven experience in automotive inverter hardware development
Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC standards and compliance methodologies
Expertise in SiC/GaN power semiconductor technologies
Experience with automotive microcontrollers and embedded hardware systems
Hands-on experience in PCB layout and design compliant with IEC 60664 standards
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams
