About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SoC Architect – Secure Computing to architect the next generation of AI inference SoCs with a strong focus on secure computing and multi-tenant deployment environments.
In this role, you will define and develop secure I/O and compute subsystems, ensuring end-to-end robustness from power-on through runtime. You will work on advanced hardware security architectures involving Root of Trust (RoT), secure boot, firmware protection, encryption engines, secure virtualization, and hardware/software co-design for AI accelerator platforms.
You will collaborate closely with firmware, verification, system software, and silicon teams to build highly secure and scalable AI compute platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Define and develop secure boot flows, authentication mechanisms, and Root of Trust (RoT) frameworks for PCIe-based AI accelerator cards.
Architect secure I/O and compute subsystems for next-generation AI inference SoCs.
Define and develop verification plans for secure subsystems including:
Secure boot
Firmware upgrade mechanisms
Key lifecycle management
Threat vector modeling
Architect SoC-level and IP-level protection mechanisms including:
Memory encryption
Secure debug/test interfaces
Isolation mechanisms
Integrate security IPs such as:
Crypto engines
Key managers
Security monitors and sensors
Define secure PCIe interfaces and memory encryption support for LPDDR/HBM memory systems.
Establish trusted execution and secure communication chains between RISC-V cores.
Collaborate with firmware, system software, and verification teams to ensure secure HW/SW co-design.
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices including:
NIST
FIPS
PSA Certified
Participate in silicon bring-up, validation, and debugging of security features.
Required Qualifications
BS/MS/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
10–25+ years of experience in SoC design and architecture.
Strong expertise in:
Hardware security architecture
Trusted execution environments
Secure memory systems
Experience with:
Secure boot flows
Key provisioning
Secure debug/test interfaces
Familiarity with:
PCIe Gen 4/5
SR-IOV
Secure virtualization technologies
Experience with RISC-V SoCs and secure subsystem integration.
Knowledge of secure firmware upgrade architectures and runtime protection strategies.
SystemVerilog and UVM-based verification experience is a plus.
Preferred Skills
Experience in AI accelerator or high-performance compute SoCs.
Strong understanding of hardware/software co-design principles.
Familiarity with silicon validation and post-silicon debugging methodologies.
Knowledge of modern security compliance and certification frameworks.
