Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Lead / Architect to design, develop, and implement scalable cloud-based data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, data migration, cloud technologies, and big data integrations, along with hands-on experience in automation, performance tuning, and modern data pipeline implementations.

Key Responsibilities
Snowflake Development & Architecture
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Snowflake-based applications and data warehouse solutions.
Build scalable Snowflake capabilities including:
Warehouse sizing
Database standards
Ingestion standards
RBAC implementation
Data Engineering & Migration
Implement data migration from traditional RDBMS platforms to Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
Design and automate modern cloud-based data pipelines.
Develop and optimize:
SnowSQL
SnowPipe
CDC pipelines
Stored procedures
BTEQ queries
Cloud & Big Data Integration
Work with cloud services such as:
AWS S3
AWS Kinesis
AWS DMS
Azure / GCP services
Utilize Python / Java for big data modeling and automation tasks.
Performance Optimization & Monitoring
Monitor and tune Snowflake performance for scalability and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and optimize query performance and warehouse utilization.
Documentation & Collaboration
Prepare technical and functional specification documents.
Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams for:
Daily project activities
Weekly/monthly status reporting
Solution delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
8–10 years of experience in:
Data warehousing
Cloud technologies
Data migration projects
Snowflake Expertise
Strong hands-on experience with:
Snowflake development
Snowflake migration
SnowPipe
SnowSQL
CDC implementation
Performance tuning
Monitoring
Cloud Platforms
Experience with at least one cloud platform:
AWS
Azure
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Data Engineering Skills
Strong understanding of:
Data Warehouse concepts
Data Modeling
Data Integration architectures
Programming & Scripting
Hands-on experience with:
Python
Shell scripting
Java (preferred)
Snowflake Architecture
Expertise in:
Warehouse sizing
Data structures
RBAC
Data ingestion frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
Snow Pro Core Certification (Preferred)
