Role Overview
Phinite.ai is seeking a highly skilled systems design and distributed systems expert to lead the architecture and scalability of its AI orchestration platform. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about building high-performance, low-latency backend infrastructure and solving complex scalability challenges.
The selected candidate will play a critical role in designing the core orchestration runtime used by enterprise-grade AI systems and automation workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Platform Engineering
Architect and optimize a large-scale AI agent orchestration runtime.
Design ultra-low-latency and high-throughput backend systems.
Build scalable orchestration, scheduling, and messaging infrastructure using Python and Golang.
Design robust multi-tenant SaaS architectures for enterprise deployments.
Performance & Scalability
Lead performance engineering initiatives including:
Profiling
Concurrency optimization
Queue management
Caching strategies
Cold-start reduction
Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance across distributed systems.
Cloud & Infrastructure
Drive architectural decisions involving:
Kubernetes
Microservices
Observability systems
Cloud-native infrastructure
Load balancing
Distributed messaging systems
Collaborate with platform and DevOps teams to enhance reliability and operational efficiency.
AI Workflow Integration
Partner with AI engineering teams to implement and operationalize agentic workflows.
Support orchestration of LLM-based systems and enterprise AI automation pipelines.
Leadership & Innovation
Contribute to architectural standards and technical strategy.
Transform ambiguous product requirements into scalable, elegant engineering solutions.
Influence core platform evolution and long-term engineering direction.
Required Qualifications
Technical Expertise
7–12 years of experience building scalable distributed systems or real-time backend platforms.
Strong expertise in:
System architecture
Distributed systems
Scalability engineering
Performance optimization
Hands-on proficiency in:
Golang
Python
Strong understanding of:
Kubernetes
Microservices architecture
Messaging queues
Caching systems
Load balancing
Cloud-native development
Engineering Skills
Experience building systems that process high volumes of:
Events
Messages
Workflows
Real-time operations
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to design clean, reliable, and maintainable systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI agent frameworks such as:
LangGraph

Familiarity with:
