Role Overview

Innodata is seeking an experienced Legal Specialist to support a client in the legal and regulatory domain. The selected consultant will contribute to standardization initiatives across multiple countries involving legal primary source workflows and business process harmonization.

This role requires strong expertise in European legal systems, process consulting, legal documentation, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business analysts and legal experts to analyze country-specific legal primary source workflows, files, and data
Support the creation of consolidated and standardized legal processes across jurisdictions
Identify and document areas where local legal processes cannot fully conform to standardized frameworks
Prepare and maintain:
Process documentation (current-state and future-state workflows)
Standardized legal data spreadsheets and process records
Track and report the status of standardization initiatives across active countries
Participate in:
Program Board meetings
Operational Committee meetings
Client coordination discussions
Provide legal insights, context, and recommendations during cross-functional meetings
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong expertise in primary sources of law within the European region
Experience in legal business process consulting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation and stakeholder management capabilities
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment
Self-starter with proactive communication skills
Preferred Skills
Bilingual proficiency preferred:
German
Dutch
Other EU languages
English language proficiency is mandatory
