Role Overview
India LawShield is expanding its national network of High Court advocates and is looking for experienced, ethical, and litigation-focused lawyers capable of handling diverse matters before High Courts across India.
The role involves courtroom representation, legal drafting, strategic advisory work, and close coordination with the organization’s legal network and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients before respective State High Courts
Draft and review:
Writ Petitions
Appeals
Revisions
SLP-related drafts
Legal notices
Handle:
Urgent filings
Stay applications
Interim relief matters
Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal opinions
Coordinate with India LawShield’s internal legal team
Ensure:
Timely communication
Ethical legal practice
Client-focused legal service delivery
Eligibility Criteria
LL.B / LL.M from a recognized university
Valid Bar Council enrollment
License to practice before High Courts in India
Minimum 3 years of active High Court litigation experience
Required Skills
Strong understanding of:
Writ jurisdiction
High Court procedures
Relevant case laws
Excellent:
Drafting abilities
Legal research skills
Courtroom argument skills
Client management capabilities
Ability to manage urgent litigation matters in fast-paced environments
