Role Overview

Innodata is seeking a Legal Specialist Consultant to support a client operating in the legal and regulatory sector. The role focuses on standardizing legal primary source workflows across multiple countries and collaborating with legal experts and business analysts to streamline country-specific legal processes.

The selected candidate will contribute to process design, workflow analysis, legal documentation, and program-level reporting related to international legal operations.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze country-specific primary source legal workflows, datasets, and documentation
Collaborate with business analysts and legal experts to:
Consolidate legal workflows
Standardize legal processes and data structures
Identify local exceptions where standardization is not feasible
Prepare and support deliverables for standardized processes, including:
As-is process documentation
To-be workflow design documentation
Standardized data spreadsheets and process records
Track and report the progress of standardization activities across active countries
Participate in:
Program Board meetings
Operational Committee meetings
Client and analyst collaboration sessions
Provide legal guidance, contextual input, and process expertise during discussions and reviews
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong expertise in primary sources of law within the European region
Experience in legal business process consulting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work independently and proactively
Strong analytical, research, and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual candidates preferred:
German
Dutch
Other European languages
English proficiency is mandatory

Detail-oriented with process standardization experience
Able to collaborate effectively with legal experts, analysts, and clients
