Role Overview

Innodata is seeking a Legal Specialist to work as a consultant for a client operating in the legal and regulatory domain. The role focuses on supporting standardization initiatives across multiple legal primary source workflows spanning different countries.

The selected candidate will collaborate with business analysts and legal experts to analyze country-specific legal workflows, streamline processes, and support the development of standardized operational frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze country-specific legal primary source workflows, files, and datasets
Collaborate with business analysts and legal experts to:
Standardize legal processes
Consolidate workflow structures
Identify country-specific exceptions to standardization
Assist in preparing standardized operational deliverables, including:
Process documentation
As-is and to-be workflow designs
Standardized data spreadsheets
Legal process mapping documents
Track and report the status of standardization efforts across active countries
Participate in:
Program Board meetings
Operational Committee meetings
Client discussions and workflow review sessions
Provide legal guidance and contextual insights during process discussions
Support cross-functional teams in legal process consulting initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong expertise in primary sources of law within the European region
Experience in legal business process consulting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work independently and proactively
Strong analytical and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual candidates preferred:
German
Dutch
Other European languages
English proficiency is mandatory

Comfortable working across international legal workflows
Detail-oriented with process standardization experience
Able to collaborate effectively with legal experts, analysts, and clients
