Role Overview

Craftech 360 is hiring a passionate Mechanical Design Engineer (Fresher) or Intern to support the design and development of innovative mechanical systems for interactive installations and immersive environments.

This role offers hands-on exposure to:

CAD modeling
Prototyping
Fabrication
Motion systems
Interactive product design
Key Responsibilities
Concept to CAD
Convert sketches and concepts into detailed 3D models
Use:
Fusion 360 (mandatory)
AutoCAD
Design:
Mechanical components
Structural frames
Motion systems
Prototyping & Fabrication
Prepare technical drawings for:
CNC cutting
Laser cutting
Sheet metal fabrication
Assist in:
Mechanical prototyping
Assembly
Testing
Design refinements
Coordinate with fabrication teams and vendors
Integration & Motion Systems
Design mounts and enclosures for:
Sensors
Actuators
Motors
Electronics
Support movement-based display systems and simple kinematic mechanisms
Documentation
Prepare:
BOMs (Bill of Materials)
Assembly instructions
Fabrication drawings
QC checklists
Help standardize parts for modular and cost-efficient production
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in:
Mechanical Engineering
Mechatronics
Knowledge of:
Fusion 360
AutoCAD
Basic understanding of:
Metals
Acrylic
Wood
Polymers
Interest in:
Prototyping
Fabrication
Interactive product design
Bonus Skills
Internship/project experience in:
Mechanical design
Interactive installations
Product prototyping
Knowledge of:
Sensors
