Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with strong expertise in Protection & Control systems for Generator applications within EPC and Power Plant projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparation and review of engineering documents, coordination with consultants, vendors, and site teams, and execution of electrical design activities related to power plant systems.
Experience Required
15 – 25 Years
Educational Qualification
B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering
Any specialization in Electrical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of Key SLD and Protection & Metering SLD
Development of Design Basis Reports
Equipment sizing calculations and equipment selection
Conducting system studies using ETAP
Preparation of Protection, Synchronization, Control & Metering scheme drawings for:
Generators
Transformers
Switchgear
Switchyard
Reactors
Transmission Lines
Development of Networking Architecture including IEC 61850
Relay setting calculations and parameterization
Coordination of control interfaces with:
DDCMIS
EDMS
ECP
Preparation of cable schedules
Review and verification of engineering documents
Coordination with consultants, vendors, and site execution teams
