Role Overview

A leading multinational company in Trivandrum is hiring an experienced Chartered Accountant to lead financial controlling, taxation, banking operations, and multi-country account consolidation functions across multiple legal entities.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in accounting, taxation, international banking operations, and financial reporting within an IT company environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Financial Controlling operations across multiple entities
Manage:
Company finances
Banking relationships
Entity funding requirements
Arrange and manage:
Working capital financing
Asset financing
Bank guarantees
Credit facilities
Oversee Accounts Payable functions including:
Purchase accounting
Vendor payments
Cash flow forecasting
Ensure compliance with:
Direct taxes
Indirect taxes
Statutory regulations
Optimize tax positions and avoid penalties
Maintain statutory records and documentation
Ensure timely:
Monthly book closure
Statutory audits
Tax audits
Internal audits
Prepare budgets and monitor budgetary controls through:
Variance analysis
Trend analysis
Forecast monthly operating expenses within 5 days of closing
Deliver MIS and financial reports to the CFO
Required Qualifications
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in:
Accounting
Taxation
Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT company
Strong expertise in:
Multi-country account consolidation
Multi-entity financial management
International banking operations
Strong analytical and leadership capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
