We Are Hiring – Surgery Coding Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Surgery Coding Specialist with experience in Medical Coding, preferably with exposure to Gastroenterology and Anesthesia specialties.

Job Responsibilities
Retrieve and review patient medical records for:
Inpatient (IP) Surgery
Outpatient (OP) Surgery
E&M Services
Validate documentation completeness, including:
Provider signatures
Diagnostic test orders
Required supporting documentation
Accurately assign:
CPT Codes
ICD-10-CM Codes
HCPCS Level II Codes
Medical Modifiers
Ensure compliance with:
Standard coding guidelines
Client-specific requirements
Regulatory policies
Collaborate with peers and supervisors to resolve coding-related queries
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to coding processes
Maintain coding accuracy and productivity targets
Qualifications & Skills

✅ 1–6 years of experience in Surgery Coding

✅ Exposure to:

Gastroenterology
Anesthesia Coding (Preferred)

✅ Certification such as:

CPC
CCS
Or equivalent certifications (Preferred)

✅ Strong understanding of:

Anatomy & Physiology
Medical Terminology
Coding Guidelines
